Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2025
Introduction
This policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when visiting this blog, hosted via Framer (built on AWS infrastructure).
No Personal Data Collected by Me
I don’t collect personal information (e.g. name, email, IP address) unless voluntarily provided (e.g. via contact form).
I do not use cookies, persistent identifiers, or third-party trackers.
Framer’s Built-In Analytics
Framer's analytics are privacy-focused and cookie-free, designed to comply with GDPR (see framer Privacy Policy here) :
It collects anonymous metrics (page views, live and unique visitors) using hashed identifiers with a daily reset.
No persistent cookies or long-term tracking.
Metrics are estimates and differ from tools like Google Analytics.
⚠️ Note:
Visitors cannot opt out of analytics—this includes all visits, regardless of tracking blockers.
Metadata (e.g., IP, browser info) may be temporarily processed before hashing.
Framer Hosting & AWS Infrastructure
Your content is delivered securely via AWS on Framer’s managed hosting:
SSL/TLS encryption in transit; data at rest encrypted with AES‑256.
Industry-standard architectural isolation and key management (AWS KMS, separation of environments).
Comply with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, SOC 2.
Privacy consideration:
AWS infrastructure may generate additional server logs (e.g., for DDoS protection, debugging), occasionally capturing metadata beyond anonymized analytics.
Handling of Submitted Data
If you share personal data (e.g., via a message form):
I collect only what you provide and use it solely for communication.
I will never sell or share your data.
Third-Party Content & Tools
Links or embedded third-party content may involve tracking outside my control. I’ll always clearly disclose these and share their relevant privacy notices when used.
User Rights
Under data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Privacy Shield):
You may request access, correction, anonymization, deletion, or portability of data.
You may object to data processing or revoke consent where applicable.
You can submit complaints to regulators (e.g. ICO, CNIL, CA AG).
Data Retention & Security
Framer anonymizes analytics data with daily hashing resets and purges old data.
AWS and Framer retain operational logs under standard policies.
Security is managed as per AWS and Framer standards, including encryption, access control, and key management.
Privacy Risks & Red Flags
You cannot opt out from all analytics (though it’s anonymized).
Initial metadata capture (IP, UA) occurs before anonymization.
AWS system logs may include information beyond those analytics (e.g., error logs, IPs).
Policy Updates
This policy may change. Revisions will update the “Last updated” date. Please review it periodically.
